Brother makes all types of machines that will handle Sunbrella...some of the later portables may struggle a little though. It only takes operator attention, especially to upper thread tension and needle size. If your machine has a hard time getting enough tension you may want to use V46 thread. If it shreds the thread try one size larger needle or either smaller thread. Use the longest stitch the machine will do too...this keeps the material from puckering. Have fun with the projects. Bill
