Calling all Montgomery Boats skippers! Last year about a dozen Montgomery skippers attended and took home a bunch of prizes! SCA Cruiser Challenge VI July 17-18, 2004 Monterey Bay, CA The Cruiser Challenge is a fun weekend on gorgeous Monterey Bay, with a laid-back regatta for non-racers. It's the biggest gathering of trailable small boats on the West Coats. Last year, 48 small sailboats, made by a dozen different manufacturers and home builders, participated in the regatta. Over a hundred people, gathered for the Award Dinner on Saturday night. The race date is Saturday, July 17th. The award dinner will be at the Monterey Yacht Club on Saturday night. There will be a brunch Sunday morning at MPYC. You don't have to race to have a good time at the Cruiser Challenge. If you would rather daysail than race, just sign up as a daysailor and join us for dinner on Saturday and brunch on Sunday. If you can't come for the whole weekend, come for part of it. The schedule is on the website. You can sign up for all events or just one.
