Hi Connie: Honda motors are fidgety travelers. Others have reported they leap off boats to take a quick swim. My motor seems to grow restless on long trips, and apparently shifts to a more comfortable position. I have found oil running from the lower unit and experienced a cloud of black smoke upon starting. steve Steve R.
