Cutting corners will result in poor finish and longevity. Is the current gel coat damaged? Guys (and Gals), Thinking of painting the white fibreglass exterior of my M15 cockpit. Would paint the seats, and sides, on the inner side, a light gray, to cut down on glare. My first thought is to use a simple 1-2-3 primer and then a coat or two of flat exterior latex.
