After a week on the road and a lot of driving, Chris, Buster and I have made it home from Arizona and now have our "new" M23 parked in our yard. I had the great pleasure of taking the tiller on "Dauntless" with about 15 to 20 knots of wind, and had the opportunity to look her over and pick Sean's brain for ideas. Sean and Jo were gracious enough to offer us a place to rest for a night before hitting the road again (I really needed the rest as I had been sick for about 2 weeks prior). I now know that the stress and logistics of long distance boat buying can take a lot out of you, but I must say I'm very pleased with the results. I now must put my Halman 20 "Northwave" up for sale. Its a great boat, just not as roomy as the M23. The 20 foot Halman is a North Sea double ender design with full keel. She is a stout, strong, seaworthy cruiser capable of ocean passages. She has a new mahogany bowsprit with bronze fittings. 5 sails, older 7.5hp Honda 4 stroke, a nice 1996 6000lb dual axle sailboat trailer designed for keel boats with adjustable pads. The boat is located in NE WA (north of Spokane). I'm asking $7,600. You can email me for pictures at: cjpacker@theofficenet.com or Phone: (509) 685-2397 if interested. Jeff M23 "yet to be named"
