We use Salus coastal PFDs and like the ability to clip in while on our M23. They are approved here in Canada. The sailor in the documentary " twenty eight feet in a little wooden boat " uses the same vest a great watch on the web . However, for our needs which are not 20 miles offshore, we are happy in spirited large mountain lake and north coast BC sailing with them until it gets snotty then comes out the full body gear . falling in the water here invites catastrophy.
