It is not only written from Robert's viewpoint of the race, but the second half of the book tells the entire story of the race from his wife Jeanne's perspective. I devoured this book in record time. I cannot recommend it enough. So, when you get your book, make sure that you pack it in the boat for the trip to Lake Havasu in Feb. so that Robert and Jeanne can sign it for you! YES!! Robert and Jeanne Crawford of "Black Feathers", the smallest boat ever to finish the Single Handed Trans Pac, will be attending the event. Robert will be conducting two seminars, one on the actual race experience itself, and the other on the process of taking a stock boat, like his Cal 20, and preparing it for a serious trip like this. Jeanne also will also be doing a couple of seminars for the gals who just need a break from the boats for a bit.
