Leif, Jerry Montgomery makes replacement rigging for the M15 and M17. Jerry recently did the rigging for our 1988 M17. I'm very happy with the work and the price is excellent. Jerry's web site is http://www.jerrymontgomery.org/ . While replacing the rigging we took the opportunity to add a Johnson split backstay adjuster. You'll see mixed reviews of the Johnson backstay adjuster. I found that when installed according to the manufactures recommended split-stay height-to-width ratio, the adjuster works very well. To get the right ratio we ordered our short split stays about 16 inches longer, and the single backstay appropriately shorter. I would appreciate receiving suggestions as to the best place to get them.
