Dropped in on Gerome Meminger during Bay Days and realized I had spoken with him at, I think, the book fair at the convention center, and that he then had given me a copy of his book, THE LONELY LITTLE BLUE BOOK to consider showing on Bedtime Stories. (Or had you even thought up Bedtime stories back then???) Once we sort out what we want to do, I'll send him a permissions grant form too. His story starts well enough but the chance encounter with a globe-trotting hunter is a bit contrived. Frankly, I like BLACKBEAR the PIRATE better. If you want to give Alec $50 now (or collect it from him to reimburse you for his expenses) I can write the check to you instead of mailing it to him. Let me know which.
