Hi Rick, Sorry to mislead you. The ComPac was on the trailer and I had pushed it by hand into the garage so that I could work on it. No connection to the car at all, which was why the ComPac slide off to the garage floor when I was trying to maneuver the trailer in the garage, and didn't have the boat tied to the trailer with the bow strap. As I lifted the tongue of the trailer to move it, that allowed the ComPac to slide aft, and then the CG was way back there and the rest is the BOOM.............. as the boat crashed to the garage floor.
