Ready to splash boat tomorrow broken toggle prevented it today..

While sailing her in the driveway on a test run I noticed that the clew can be any where from flush with the deck (I do not have a Bow Rail) to 3'-4' above the deck.

What is the normal height above deck for a working Jib?
