Hi Craig, I built a cockpit (companionway) table for my M15. The original design was in one of the last published Montgomery News Letters. The table fits over the lowest hatch board; has fiddles; and with the folded holding mechanism, is easy to stow. The pieces that hold it in place on the hatch board are hinged so that they fold flat when not in use. My only modification to the original design was to center the table over the hatch board so that non symmetrical table loads wouldn't put too much strain on the holding device. So far it has worked very nicely; no design changes needed nor would any be suggested. If you want more details, I could give you the dimensions I used; how I made it; and even could send you a copy of my folding device so that you would have the right angles (remember the hatch boards do not go in place at a 90 degree angle..........!)
