Hi Bert, So, you bought another M-15. Welcome back to the group! I replaced my original motor mount with an adjustable mount. Rather than drill new holes in the fantail, I mounted a piece of mahogany through the old holes, then mounted the new motor mount on that. My 2hp Honda now rides clear of the water, except sometimes on a hard tack. You are welcome to come by and take a look if interested.
