Hello from Massachusetts. I'm down-sizing from a 1979 Cape Dory 28 and just acquired a 1976 M17 (hull no. 215).. I've had my eye on M17s for a while but they're rare as hen's teeth in New England. This one came on the market just as I was closing on the Cape Dory so I grabbed it. No motor, original Trail-Rite is pretty sketchy, but the boat itself is in decent shape for its age. Lots of questions, but won't launch until next spring so there will be plenty of time for that.
Welcome to the list! You've bought a great boat, if I do say so myself. I also have a 1976 M17, hull number 200, CornDog. Personally, I think the older boats are the best, but then I may be biased. :-) Larry On Thu, Nov 7, 2013 at 11:01 AM, <swwheatley@comcast.net> wrote:

There are older boats, then there are OLDER boats. Larry has one of the OLDER boats... t On Thu, Nov 7, 2013 at 11:42 AM, Larry Yake <larryyake@gmail.com> wrote:
