I know this is not mainstream for this list, with all the M15's, M17's, & M23's but we finally got the 'Round Tuit' and had the photos developed of our little Monty on a nearby lake last fall. There were one or two of You that asked to see a photo of Coba' on the water when she was finally able - so it is attached (lost >those email addresses when our PC crashed).
Gordon, Any Montgomery is mainstream for this list! I would love to see the photos, and I am sure others on the list would too! I did not get an attachment with your e-mail (perhaps they can be put up on the MSOG web site?). Scott
Hello Scott, Thank You for the kind words. Coba' was pretty beat up when we got her and I credit MSOG for helping us get her back to 'normal'. She's also not as old (1982) as some I read about on here. But for a small sailing skiff, the inherent quality is excellent, Jerry did a great job building these. (I've owned or piloted boats up to 85 ft - since Noah landed - as my Daughter would say). I relate to the challenges and suggestions on the M15's and larger, as I've been through many of those kinds of quirks and repairs and I'm learning the latest and greatest ways to deal with it, Thanks to the list. I attached the photo as I usually do for other emails, but apparently that method doesn't work with this list. fyi - The 'Admirable' took quite a few photos of us when we were on the water. She too enjoyed seeing Coba' on the water after seeing her on sawhorses for so long (during the transformation). I just planned to share one of the better photos for those that had asked. My own MSOG email copy came back without the attachment. I need to learn how to submit the photos for the MSOG web site. I didn't see any 'how to' for that in the link I had.
