Re: M_Boats: Walla-Walla Yacht Club Weekend Monty Sail
Wow, Craig! "yare" I like the sound of that! You should have seen us blow by a Cape Dory 25 last weekend. We were both flying our 150 genoa's, and as we flew by he stared and said "Now that's just not right!" Sad to say, it was our last sail of the season. I just winterized Tullamore this evening. I really enjoy your pics, Randy, thanks!
Larry, I think Tullamore is one of those rare boats that can honestly be called "yare" . . .

Friends,
This past weekend a group of area Montgomery owners got together for a weekend of sailing and fun on the Columbia River. Jon Martin did a great job in hosting this event at the Walla-Walla Yacht Club, near Walla-Walla Washington. Thanks Jon! Two M-15's, two M-17's, and a Catalina 27 where among the group. Several folks came for just a day and to sail on other boats. Tom Wilkinson attended with his M-17 "Obsessus", a 2000 year Bob Eeg built 17, hull number 602. Obsessus is thought to be the first M-17 from the factory with round ports.
Great sailing, food, and conversation where had by all! Pictures of the event can be found at http://sailing.gravesfam.us follow the link on the left side of the web page to Walla-Walla, Sept. 2004.
Thanks Jon, and Thanks to all who provided food!
