Hello WrinkleBoaters! Happy New Year wishes from the desert! I hope you got your sailing bits you were looking for in your stockings and are reading your new copies of sailing periodicals!!!! I am sure we are all flush with money being as though it is post holidays, and a rip roaring economy seems to have just rolled over us like a big ol'wave ! Okay - so that may not be the most accurate picture of the economy, how about this - We, (Gary O. and Jerry M. aka Team Geezer Racing "Old and In the Way") are in need of your financial support for our fund raising mission for the Leukemia Cup Regatta at Lake Pleasant, AZ on January 16-18th, 2009. We truly thank ALL of those that have been SO generous in supporting the effort thus far. Now we need the others that may have forgotten of just needed to see if we could raise some money. We have an excellent start on our goal of $2500. but we need your help! This is our last request for this year - 2008, I will be asking after the first of the year for those that have met your philanthropic goals for 2008! LOL. We have been promised some additional funds for 2009, but we need every bit we can to meet our goals. The sponsoring club has asked that we choose a person affected by Leukemia to honor by 'naming' the boat after that person. I have chosen this young man - Saulo Morris, he went to my kids High School and made some decisions that would make anyone proud.
