Hello, what's wrong with good grade 2X6 Douglas fir, painted with oil based paint and covered with carpet? Once hunkered down on supports for a time, they develop their own curve--almost. I remove them ocasionally when cleaning the hull and applying anti foul paint. Certainly, before removal, the hull is propped and raised with four adjustable stands--The two forward stands within the trailer and the two aft outside the trailer. Works for me. Bill K.
