re: Regarding the M15 pricing...
It cost me $150 to have my M-15 surveyed. The surveyor said if it was in his parking lot he would do it for $50. It took me about two minutes with an internet search engine to locate a surveyor, and maybe a two minute phone call to schedule the survey. I saved $500 to $600 in air fare, motel, meal and rental car expenses. I suspect that this time of year surveyors are happy to have work. By the way, I got a heck of a sailboat. steve Steve R. I bought Busca sight unseen but not without comparing the then current owner's assessment with the previous owner's, something that most people would not have the good fortune of being able to do. I concluded that not only was the then current owner completely honest but also that he was of a pretty picky nature, a good feature to have in the seller when buying a boat. Those NADA values do sound awfully low. I'm sure some boats have sold for figures like that but they surely must be at the low end of the spectrum. Tod M17 #408 BuscaBrisas
