I just bought a new TP10 auto tiller. Does anyone have one in their M15? If you do, how did you mount it to the side? Mine is 2" short of the starboard side cockpit wall in it's recommended installation position. It looks like I would have to make something at least 3 1/2" in depth away from the inside wall to mount it. I really don't want something protruding into the cockpit permanently, but it may be the only way. Do you have a picture of your installation? Norm Bundek M15 #172
You should be able to buy extension pieces for the rod. -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+nl=sagatech.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+nl=sagatech.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Norm Bundek Sent: Saturday, October 21, 2006 9:54 AM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: TP10 auto tiller installation I just bought a new TP10 auto tiller. On mine there is a permanent flange base on the seat back....I then screw in an extension piece around 4 " long which the TP slides into....and the moving arm on the TP has an extension as well. It all breaks down easily.
