George. The SageCat, and Sage 15, have 220# of lead in a bulb at the bottom of the daggerboard. Draft is 3'6" daggerboard and rudder down. 9" when up. Details, pictures and videos on the boats can be seen through Sage's www - www.sagemarine.com Beside to chef out the BLOG for pictures and additional details ... Including one of the lead bulb used in the daggerboard. The prototype SageCat and Sage 15 are currently in their way to the Wrinkleboat ran-tan at lake Pleasant AZ. I'll be posting pics and details about ran-tan and boats in Sage's Instagram and Twitter feeds (links to these in Sage's www). :: Dave Scobie On Feb 13, 2017 6:14 PM, "George Iemmolo" <griemmolo2@gmail.com> wrote: There was a nice article in the latest SAIL magazine showing the Cat rig. Do not know if this is the boat Jerry was talking about in his SAC "Small Talk" column. Would love to sail one with a Flat Head. One can only wish at that price. I did not notice any spec for the draft in the article. Jerry I was wondering if any thought had been given to having a bulb on the end of the center board for additional righting moment. Dave thanks for the quick reply. Good to hear that the CB has a weighted bulb as there is *no keel better to have it as low as possible. * George "We Can Not Control the Wind But We Can Adjust Our Sails" On Mon, Feb 13, 2017 at 7:22 PM, Dave Scobie <scoobscobie@gmail.com> wrote:
