We don't have a portable power source for our Potter 15, but have found that an AGM sized U-1 battery takes up little room and provides 32 aH of power. I use it to power a trolling motor (very handy, that) and recharge the battery through the trolling motor's power outlet. It all works very well. Steve Tyree, P-15 #2098 Amy Ann
I have been considering an AGM battery for my Minnekota trolling motor rather than use the 16Ah Costco emergency starter battery that I already have since a dedicated AGM might be happier in the very salty environment of an old Zodiac inflatable.
