We'll make sure that we reiterate the tiller length requirement more stridently when booking future M17 Unifoil rudder orders. For most of the production life of the 17 I put the traveller in the forward end of the cockpit but soon discovered that on my own boat I much preferred it in the center, and eventually went that direction on production boats. I prefer the center sheeting, with a roller traveller so the helmsman can pull the car to weather in a drifter 100-1 over an y other way. Jerry, Most folks might understand what you meant by "pull the car to weather in a drifter 100-1 over any other way." but I'm lost. Can you translate? Also, what is your take on sheeting the M17 off the end of the boom?
