Re: M_Boats: M_Boats NW Rendezvous ! ! !
Bob and Harvey and potential rendezvousers, (find that in your spell check) I think Harvey hit it right on the head with his list of what to look for in a potential site and time. It may be that two rendezvous' would better suit the needs of those interested if north Idaho is too far from the Seattle area. We'll just have to see who shows interest. My personal preference would be two. One in early summer at Pend Oreille, Coeur D'Alene, Priest, or even Flathead Lakes and then one in the fall on the coast, such as the San Juan trip that was discussed last year. That would line up with my sailing plans for this coming year perfectly! :-) At any rate, we'll at least have an informal weekend sail sometime this year. Larry Y. M17 Tullamore P.S. I'd love to participate in a NW rondivoo but I may be a jinx! When last year's event fizzled I went right ahead with plans for a solo trip. My plans were aborted when an accident ended my sailing season early. This year I'm planning to make a San Juan trip (I haven't yet set the dates) but I will attempt to work in any fleet sails that I can. Mark and Roberta M17 #400 GRACE
I hope to make it to the San Juans again this year, and would enjoy meeting up with the fleet where possible -- my wife's schedule has less work flexibility than mine, so advance planning may be helpful if possible. Loyd Myers "WhipperSnap" M-17 #334 Roberta & Mark Dvorscak wrote:
