Does anyone know where I can get a replacement sheave for the main halyard ? I was looking at the fitting, wondering about changing the halyards from cable to line and noticed one of the sheaves is sawed almost down to the axle on one side. A quick search of the internet has found nothing that will fit. Smitty
Bob was kind enough to supply replacements for my m-17. I was able to chuck them in a drill press and file them open a bit more to accommodate rope halyards. You could try to order some from Bob at Norsea. Robbin Sent from my iPhone On Aug 1, 2010, at 6:48 PM, Leighton Smith <wndsfr47@gmail.com> wrote:

I had feeling that would be the answer, but thought there might be a standard size sheave available. I could make a sheave if I had to on the lathe but I have enough other projects going to not add another right now. Thanks, I'll call Bob tomorrow.
