Re: M_Boats: Anyone have any experience with an RK20?
I just recognized your name, Brian. You're the "Fix it and Sail" guy, right? Guess you know what you're getting into. Probably even have several cost saving methods. Good luck. Larry On Sun, 1 Oct 2006 08:49:27 -0700 Larry E Yake <leyake@juno.com> writes:
Don't know anything about the RK20, but I do know (first hand <grin>) that buying a boat that needs work is NOT a way to save money! Even a modest amout of restoration adds up fast. Of course, with a Monty, it's worth it. Most other boats.... not even close.

Hi All: Does Anyone have any experience with an RK20, good, bad or otherwise? This is another Lyle Hess design. There's one for sale here (it was my #2 choice after my Monty) and I've got a friend with a SERIOUS sailing jones
but very little money, and I'm steering him towards it. I think it's in bad
shape, no trailer, but I think we can fix it.
