Does anyone know where I can get a good trailer for a M15. Just a painted trailer would be fine. Trail Rite wants $1500 for one and that seems high to me. Could be that I am just not accustomed to the cost of things these days. Smitty
Smitty, I'm don't have a good answer for you, but I do know this. If you will be dipping your trailer in salt water, I would purchase a galvanized trailer instead of just a painted trailer. Or you will be buying another trailer sooner then you'd like. Looks like things have gotten more expensive lately. Larry was not available but they are now quoting $1590 for a basic galvanized trailer. On Thu, Jun 17, 2010 at 12:05 PM, Bob From California <ocean37@hotmail.com>wrote:

I purchased my M-17 trailer from Pacific in February '08 with the spare tire/carrier as the only option. I paid $2240.49 which included California's ridiculously high sales tax. But hey, it's only money right? Jim M-17 "Spirit" On Jun 17, 2010, at 2:06 PM, Leighton Smith wrote:

i've spent $1000+ reconditing my M17's 1984 trailer (trail-rite painted steel). if you include that the project was over 10 months a few grand for a new 17 trailer, or $1300 for a 15 trailer, isn't so bad. :-) see details - http://m17-375.webs.com/trailerrenovation.htm dave scobie M17 #375 - SWEET PEA visit SWEET PEA's www-site - http://www.m17-375.webs.com --- On Thu, 6/17/10, Jim Poulakis <picfo@comcast.net> wrote: I purchased my M-17 trailer from Pacific in February '08 with the spare tire/carrier as the only option. David you certainly have a point there. I will be traveling to the Gulf coast next year so a good trailer is a requirement. Padre Island is a long way from NV. On Thu, Jun 17, 2010 at 5:23 PM, W David Scobie <wdscobie@yahoo.com> wrote:
