The added 10 pounds keeps the prop in the water when going forward. Carrying the motor is more difficult but I have carried it 100 feet before taking a break. The weight advantage of the Honda 2hp is a real benefit. However, since most the carrying is only from the tailgate of the pickup to the transom at the end of the trailer, it's not a problem for me. My Yamaha only has 2 hours on it so I've not been able to test at full speed. Incidentally, Randy, the dealer's service man told me to run the engine after use to drain the carburetor.
