I tow and launch/retrieve my M-15 with a 1999 Subaru Forester, hauling it up and down a 3000 ft. grade to a nearby lake here in southern Oregon (Howard Prairie Lake). The engine, transmission, and brakes seem to have no problem with the boat and trailer. The M-15 is light enough that most cars can handle the load. The Forester certainly does it without breaking a sweat.
