I have been on the bow bouncing the boat into the wave with water to my knees and still the boat sailed great. I could even jump over board and be pulled and it would still sail straight. I turned my front hatch around to open forward. Held open by bonji around the mast. I could keep it open while sailing and air would go thru the cabin. I made a fiberglass box that would hold my cooler in the port lazerette so I did not have to go in the cabin the to obtain a cool one. My video doesn't show the hatch turned around, I did that a little later.
