I have enjoyed all the posts about boat names. Since we haven't named #83 yet it got me thinkin', (which in an of itself is kinda scary) If I don't stop grinding new holes and start patching old ones pretty soon, we'll have to call her "Swiss Cheese"!............ Problem is I'm Irish. hahaha .......maybe "Holey Cow"? Some new updates on www.havasumontgomerys.funtigo.com if your looking for a few chuckles. I've applied to be next years poster child for the "make sure you hire a professional marine sureyor" campaign. :-) Sean
Great work Sean. You have a new fan! I remember my old man --who flew gliders cross country -- came back one weekend after 'landing out' in a farmers field. He neglected to see a low rock wall hidden in the field, until he had come upon it. Unfortunately his attempt at trying to hop over it didn't quite work. He came to a stop with his feet in the dirt--the bottom half of his glider's nose had been torn off. Built from fiberglass, the thing was shredded to bits. But, after a month in his garage, the damn thing was as good as new. He always proclaimed that there wasn't anything made from the stuff (fiberglass) you couldn't fix. He proved that point to me. Hell, I think he was happier after the incident, and having that challenge then he would have been otherwise. Maybe you should call your boat Patches. Or maybe Phoenix. --Bob Olson M-15 #219 On Jan 24, 2006, at 7:42 PM, Nebwest2@aol.com wrote:
