Andrei, John Owens is a good guy - does good work and is fair - I would have him repair the old rudder blade and build a new one so you have a back up. I am familiar with Mr. Owens work having seen examples of his products at the 2010 LHPC event and got to meet him - A straight arrow guy that knows what he is doing.
