Well ... I remember this boat being discussed some years ago. Can't remember the specifics. As Marty lives next to me on his boat I just knocked on his companionway and asked! The history that Marty knows is that the owner that did the mod was very tall and wanted more room below. This owner just sawzalled off the hose and made what can be seen.
