In response to the request for launch check list, I am attaching the one I did for myself after having launched my M15 several times and always learning something new or forgetting something else. I laminated it, and have it cut down to about 3" by 12" that way I can carry it with me on the boat. It is an excel spread sheet for those who might have difficulty opening it. To add another word on trailer tires. Let me just remind those who were on the list last summer about the problem I had with the centerboard pin riding out of it's place. I contribute that to the washboard type vibration I was getting with the bias ply tires I had on my trailer. Once I got radials, all that miserable vibration went away. It was so bad that I thought I had a flat on the trailer, not so. Time for a cool change! Sandra(Seawitch #617)
Sandra, I couldn't even 'find' the attached file. I looked on MSOG for it too. Am I 'holding my mouth wrong'?? Where'd it go? can you send it directly to me?? Sandra, The list won't accept attachments. Whatever you have must be in the body of the message. That's just the way it works. Vibration in trailer tires can often be solved by having them balanced. Most people don't bother to have their trailer tires balanced, but maybe your vibration had a different cause. You have it cured now anyway.
