I want to place a M6.8 on top of my cabin Falmouth Cutter. Anyone have any ideas? bob in santa barbara
Bob, Sam L. Morse used to have a photo on their web page of a Cherub sitting on the foredeck of a F.C. It doesn't appear to be there any longer, but I'll bet if you ask them nicely they might e-mail it to you. Pretty well fills up the foredeck area, fitting over the scuttle hatch. As I am a big Pardey fan, I agree that the foredeck is not place for a dingy..That is why I want to place it under the main boom...I believe that I only have 20 inches but I think that the dingy would fit. The length is exactly fine....As I do most of my sailing single handed, I need simplicity and ease of launch and recovery...Thanks Boy, this is a very active site.... ----- Original Message ----- From: <htmills@bright.net> To: "'For and about Montgomery Sailboats'" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, June 25, 2003 8:13 PM Subject: RE: M_Boats: M 6.8 for FC cutter

I'm sure you've seen the wooden "chocks" that the dinghy gunwales sit in... Which FC hull do you have? There was an unfinished one that recently sold in Annapolis... My cutter is a 1983? which used to belonged to Paul Chistiansen (Searcher) who died a sad death of cancer. I purchased the boat and renamed it "Jack Russell" after one of my little dogs. I am a serious Pardey fan having spent several wonderful times with them while they were in the area.I have adopted many of their ideas and the dingy is the latest...I can make the chocks. Haven't been able to find the oil lights yet. Thanks for your reply... ----- Original Message ----- From: <htmills@bright.net> To: "'For and about Montgomery Sailboats'" <montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2003 7:12 PM Subject: RE: M_Boats: M 6.8 for FC cutter I'm sure you've seen the wooden "chocks" that the dinghy gunwales sit in...
