MontgomeryOwners.com is now testing our "Owner's Pages" concept, "mini websites" available for Montgomery owners who want to create and maintain a few web pages about their boat without having to maintain their own website. Details are at http://montgomeryowners.com (click the "Owner's Pages" link). The on-line editor lets you cut and paste from Word, or create the pages on-line in your browser in a "WYSIWYG" format ... no HTML coding is required. Its an easy way to create web pages, and might be just the thing to avoid the winter doldrums! Our first chat session looked like it was a success; even though I actually missed it! My wife is recovering from cancer surgery, and she was having a good day Saturday so we celebrated by going to dinner. I'm a bad webhost, but an OK husband in her book. The chat log is available for everyone to read in our Forums, or at the http://meebo.com site (search for "Montgomery Owners" chat room).
Frank, Thanks for setting up the chat this past Saturday.. We have 6-8 that signed on and we had a nice chat for more than an hour. My best wishes to you and your wife (name??) for a speedy and healthy recovery. Thanks, Joe. The chat room is "always there", and people with sites of their own can embed the application on their site if they wish (and then the chat is shared across all the sites). Jan, my wife, is doing well, and I appreciate the good thoughts. They "got it all", and although they never really say that you have a 100% chance that it won't come back, they are saying "99.9%" chance. That's about as good as it gets, so we're happy with the outcome. Getting through the recovery will take a few months, but after that, they predict clear sailing (so to speak!) Joe Murphy wrote:
