Re: M_Boats: question for Jeff Packer
Robbin, Sean Mulligan (of Havasu Pocket Cruisers fame) has an M23 and he has done extensive repairs to his boat. In fact, he probably deserves the "King of Keel" crown for delicate surgery on replacing keel ballast and other such projects. I could only wish to be half as talented with my hands... In fact he probably hasn't responded yet only because he works long on and off shifts on his job. Anyway, here's his site with photos-a-plenty. http://havasumontgomerys.piczo.com/?g=20711458&cr=1 Hey Sean, how are you healing up after that soccer match with your trailer hitch? Thanks Neil, I agree with everything you have here. My question for Jeff was more to do with his center board work which appears to be more done by the marina crew (which is what I plan) versus Sean who was brave enough and inventive enough to handle all his renovations in his own back yard (okay, yes with a crane too). I have been looking over Sean's excellent site pretty much constantly since I bought the boat. I also wish Sean quick healing. Robbin On 7/18/2010 8:26 PM, ndorf@surfbest.net wrote:

Hey guys! I'm healing up just fine. No big deal except a little whining!!! Heck, this is minor compared to the Santana 23 we had giving me an Air-E-Vac flight to Vegas years back! hahaha Yep, I'm a clutz! Yes, in addition to riding the short bus (right Larry?) I've taken the ambulance....I prefer the bus! It's WAY easier on the wallet............and the wife.
