Good information Doug. Do you happen to know which tack bracket/reefing hook arrangement you ordered from Dwyer? There's a large one (DH680) and a small one (DH683). And wow, seems like 3:1 is pretty muscular for an M15 outhaul. My 1:1 works pretty well and I would thing 2:1 would be simpler to rig. On the other hand, speaking as a motorcycle rider, one can't have too much torque or too mechanical advantage can one? t Tom Smith & Jane Van Winkle Fairfield, WA M15-345 Chukar M17-064 Unnamed -----Original Message----- From: montgomery_boats-bounces+tom.smith=itron.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:montgomery_boats-bounces+tom.smith=itron.com@mailman.xmission.co m] On Behalf Of Doug Kelch Sent: Sunday, January 09, 2005 11:21 AM To: Montgomery Subject: M_Boats: M15 boom layout On an earliery posting some one had asked about my boom hardware layout. I put up 8 pictures at the funtigo site below. This configuration is not as it comes from the factory and may not work for you...... :-) It is merely provided to stimulate your own ideas. http://www.funtigo.com/dkelch?b=215326&p=start&c=1802951 The base site if the above link doesn't get there is: dkelch.funtigo.com and then select the M15 rigging album.
