Well, finally, after 8 weeks of ownership, I have finally ordered a boat name to be placed on the stern. Not being terribly original, and not wanting to name her the same as previous boats (she is her own "little lady", ya know), we picked up on the oft used (with deference) and humorous nickname for all the Montgomery vessels: *wrinkle boats*. After studying all of the synonyms for "wrinkle" (both English and foreign), we settled on what we believed was best: *"Wrinkles"* * * Hopefully, I have not "stolen" any other's name. *Jeff+* 1981 M15 (#176) *Wrinkles*
Just make sure that you explain this perfectly clear to your wife.... ----- Original Message ----- From: Jeffrey Johnston To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Sent: Friday, April 20, 2012 4:42 PM Subject: M_Boats: Boat Name Well, finally, after 8 weeks of ownership, I have finally ordered a boat name to be placed on the stern. I like it Jeff! Always thought Shar-Pei would be a good name, Wrinkle Boat, Wrinkle Dog. I think Wrinkles is a fine name for a "lapstrake" boat. Good choice. -) - Ed -----Original Message----- From: Jeffrey Johnston Sent: Friday, April 20, 2012 1:42 PM To: montgomery_boats@mailman.xmission.com Subject: M_Boats: Boat Name Well, finally, after 8 weeks of ownership, I have finally ordered a boat name to be placed on the stern.
