More new stuff on the Photo Site...
Hi All, Almost 10,000 hits on the photo site!!! Just put together a new section called "Maintainance & Modifications". The very first part of this section is an area called "Items of ongoing discussion on the MSOG Forum". Very soon I'll be able to give a couple of names of people who will be able to post pictures into this section. For now, when an item requires a picture to get a point across, Email it to me and ask that I post it in the DISCUSSION Section. I'll get it done as soon as possible. Then we can all benefit from one anothers experience/knowledge. For this section (only) we will accept any picture large or small. anything helps when a photo explanation is required. So use it folks... (Whoever has the picture, needed by Bud M15 #500 of the reefing. If you dont mind sending it to me as well, I'll get it on the site.) Also you'll see a couple of other links one for "motor carrier" and another for "keel guides". Links like these will never be finished. If you have a couple of pictures that fit into these or future catagories, let me know. Just got a couple of CD's in that have lots of great pics. Stay tuned. More to come. Bill
Maybe it's just me, but all the links on the funtigo site appear dead, except one way down off-screen under the hit counter ("Discussion") which works but goes to a page with no photos or info. Anyone else having this difficulty? Sorry to respond to list about this, but I don't know who codes the site. I think that having color style in your link-to code could be a problem with some browsers. BTW, They're not working for me either (Safari, Mac). I would change the link coding from this: <a style="color:#000080" href="http://www.funtigo.com/MSOG?b=215591&c=1789789&p=start"> Montgomery Line Art </a> to this: <a href="http://www.funtigo.com/MSOG?b=215591&c=1789789&p=start"> Montgomery Line Art </a> I'd put your link color style into the body header. Should work after that. That's my guess anyway. --Bob Olson On Friday, January 21, 2005, at 08:02 PM, Craig F. Honshell wrote:

OK, here's what I just submitted to Funtigo customer service. They may respond by saying that I am not the registered owner of that page. If so, whoever registered with them can copy this comment and re-submit it. I hope this works. When your between boats, looking at pictures is the next best thing. --Bob Olson ------------------------------------- Dear Funtigo, I'm writing to you on behalf of the Montgomery Sailboat Owners Group. There is a coding problem with their page at <http://www.msog.funtigo.com>. The links to pictures aren't working for a number of users that are trying to access them. The problem appears to be in the way the links are coded. For example, here's a typical link: <a style="color:#000080" href="http://www.funtigo.com/MSOG?b=215591&c=1789789&p=start"> Montgomery Line Art </a> The color tag, <style="color:#000080"> needs to be removed from the link in all cases. They should be revised to: <a href="http://www.funtigo.com/MSOG?b=215591&c=1789789&p=start"> Montgomery Line Art </a> The color tag should be in the body header. The links should work for everyone after this code is revised. Please contact me if I can be of further help. Thank you, Bob Olson
