Hi Connie, My one complaint with my M15 was the motor mount. I bought it new and assumed from the literature that Jerry mailed me that the motor mount was like the one in the picture in the literature. It wasn't. Mine is fiberglass. It vibrates at any speed. Very annoying. I have wanted to change it but wasn't sure just what to change it with so it would look alright with the new one. Please share with me the name, model number and company name and phone number so I can get the same one you have. Thanks so much for your help. Bud, IIRC the adjustable motor mounts on the new Monties come from Garhauer. I think they only have one model. www.garhauer.com Hope this helps Rik
Hi Rik Do they sell those to the public from their cataloge? My shop is 2 miles from Garhauer and I have to custom order the mounts. I did remember they took some of them to the boatshows. They are incredible mounts, all stainless, adjustable and I like the large flange. It would be very difficult to install on a 15 that has a deck on her. We install them before we deck the boats. They are very expensive. Fair winds Bob (949) 489-8227 Rik Sandberg wrote:

Bud: I replaced the fixed fiberglass motor mount on my M17 with a Garhauer stainless mount which I ordered directly from them. It is expensive, about $160 but very nice. It was a pain to install because of the lack of clearance. It works very well with my Yammy 4. I was going to throw out the old mount but my brother came up with the brilliant idea to bolt it on to a cheap hand truck and voila! I now have a mobile outboard mount.
