Neat idea John. I'd be very surprised if Jerry or Bob don't have the lines. I don't know about the R/C model, but I'd love a half hull. Wooden Boat seems to do an article every couple of years re: getting lines off full size hulls. I would be interested in finding enough data to construct a scale R/C model of my 17 for use on local ponds. Might be an area of interest for more than one of us. A mini-challenge may be in the offing. Thanks, John Lubliner M-17FD #69 "Coyote" _____ This message was scanned for viruses.
I have a mold for a 1/2 model of the old M-12, which visually is pretty similar to the 17, or 15 for that matter. I made a few many years ago (I have one, my Mom has one, my brother has one) but the problem is that making one is a good day's work even tho the material isn't much, so they would have to cost a couple of hundred dollars, even at winter rates. Tooling a 17 would be too much work (money) unless a whole bunch of people wanted one. Probably unlikely.
