John, where did you drill that centerboard trunk hole for unjamming your CB? I have the M-15 and I can't imagine where the hole would be located unless it is right at the hatch step down. If the board ever jammed again, I could remove the drainplug, drive the board down with a piece of aluminum rod, and screw the plug back in. Larry, The solution I used is slightly different and may not work as well but I drilled a 5/16 th hole through the bridge deck and through the splashboard about 1/2 inch in front of the CB pennant. I then use a wooden dowel through the holes to push down on the CB. Some times the CB has been stuck enought that I have broken a few dowels. I have gotten stuck enough in the Chesapeak Bay mud that I have had to dive under the boat and wiggle the board from side to side frequently enough to break it loose. Sounds like a good solution. From what i gather the drilled hole is in the cockpit between the CB pennant and the cabin. Is this correct??
