33 of the 63 boats that attended the Havasu Pocket Cruisers Event in Feb have posted thier photos to a common Flickr account to be viewed and shared. If you would like to look at them, grab a drink, turn on some of your favorite sailing tunes, sit back and click through over 1750 shots of Montgomerys, Potters, Compacs, Catalinas, Odays, Drascombs, Mac Gregors, Sanibels, and more! You'll see shots of conditions from drifter to reefed. The web address is: _http://www.flickr.com/photos/sailhavasu/collections_ (http://www.flickr.com/photos/sailhavasu/collections) Also, Mike Hess' HD DVD video that he put together is finished and arriving on the doorsteps of the folks that purchased it. He has a 1 minute sample of what's on the the DVD posted to youtube. If you would like to see it you can find it at: _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C38NavN_gsk_ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C38NavN_gsk) The full length DVD is available from Mike. _michael@hessmarine.com_ (mailto:michael@hessmarine.com) Plans are underway already for next year's convention. We will be blowing it out to 1 full week and adding an "early birds" overnight downriver cruise with an awesome beach bar-b-que in one of the most scenic anchorages you'll ever see, Steamboat Cove, before the start of the official event on Feb 8th - 15th. To see what Steamboat Cove looks like watch this short video: _http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXotGLa9Ae0_ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KXotGLa9Ae0) The goal this coming year is to top 100 boats in attendance and to attract some more great seminars/sponsorships. Mark you calendars now and plan to join us. I'll be getting a complete recap webpage together soon. We'll start booking hotel rooms and slips next month. Enjoy, Sean _www.havasumontgomerys.piczo.com_ (http://www.havasumontgomerys.piczo.com/)
