I just bought a new Yamaha 4 hp 4 stroke to replace my current Yamaha 2 stroke. The motor has always run fine but seemed to overheat a bit last weekend. I took it to the dealer and it looks like it needs a new waterpump and thermostat. I am having this done soon and will be putting it up for sale. It is a long shaft, 1992 with built in tank and I'll be asking $300 with the repair done if anyone is interested. I am in South Florida, don't know about shipping. By the way, the new Yammy is sweet indeed. I especially like the built in tank as well as the option to run a remote tank. I looked at the Honda 5hp but it is 12 lbs heavier and a few hundred $$ more with no built in tank. Email me off list if interested. Maria Jorge
