Bill, You're right about the mast, but it also depends on which trailer is under either boat. We have different trailers for our different boats. One trailer has the tilt feature and it is longer in the tongue section - so it's 22 ft overall for a 15ft. That's why it is usually parked diagonally. What is the total length of the M-15 and the M-17 as they sit on the trailer? I would imagine it will depend upon how much the mast sticks out past the stern. Maybe it's best to ask how much garage length, parking the boat & trailer straight in, do I need to plan on for either boat?
