Noticing that with a spring line yanking on my toe rail and a job sheet block tugging while I'm sailing rail-in-the-water, it must stress the toe rail such that it pulls away from the hull ever so slightly over time. This could be the cause of 1 of 3 leaks. Looks like rain, I'm off with some food coloring to find the others. Hi Theo, my port side leaks have almost disappeared with the rebedding of the toe rail and new hardware along with removal of old adhesive in the joint (as possible) and applying 3M5200 from the outside and inside. I think most of the improvement could have been gained with rebedding the toe rail and screws. My guess is that either you have some leaks through the screws or possibly the joint under stress if the rail is submerged. After my redo of the rail, I now have what appears to be some leaking/sweating through the stripe area right below the rail. I can see that this area is much thinner (you can "see daylight" through this area of the hull from the interior) and that perhaps the gel coat is very very thin. I am looking to repaint the stripe to seal it. Good luck with your leaks! Let us know what you find. Robbin M-10, M-23 On 5/7/2013 1:59 PM, Theo Petron wrote:
