Sculling oar for Montgomery 15
Are any of you skippers using a sculling or instead of outboard? How does it workout? I am planning to try it at some point, but haven't yet. Have been reading and researching sculling info. This nifty device may be of interest: http://www.duckworksbbs.com/gear/scullmatix/index.htm And if you want to skip the device, this page may be of interest: http://www.jesterinfo.org/howtoscull.html cheers, John S. From the archives........ http://msog.org/how-to/oars.cfm If memory serves, best I could get out of it was about 2 knots in a calm. Tried it against a bit of wind once, and it was no go. BTW, if anyone in the Midwest is interested, I've decided to pass stewardship of my M17 on to someone else. I'm not using her and someone else should be. If interested, contact me offline for details. Howard 573-819-6969 On May 24, 2017, at 12:47 PM, Jim Sadler wrote:

Does the R2AK 2017 start from Boat Haven or Port Hudson in Port Townsend? What time on June 8, 2017? When do entrants begin arriving for their staging? Did the list admin change list settings so that the default reply is now to sender, not list? It always used to be list. But now when I hit reply it defaults to sender (the person who posted the message). thanks, John S. On 05/29/2017 10:39 AM, Steve Trapp wrote:
