John, Happy New Year, Re; Ladder - I used to install Catalina 22 boarding ladders on just about anything that stood still long enough! really I actually put one on a truck. I have one I can take measurements from (I have not installed it on my 17) and send you the dimensions. Good ladders made by ___Railmakers in Costa Mesa CA ----(old ageitis) --and no way you can pinch your fingers on them! fine piece of equipment Fair price & very simple design,IMHO.
