In all these years (+-27) I've only seen one other M-10 and it was down in Georgetown, Bahamas. It was dark blue and a dink for a sailboat cruising from Louisiana. They are rare down here on the east coast...I felt very lucky to find one. At the time I had contacted Montgomery Marine about sending one out here but the prices were a little steep for my budget. It seems the boat was $850 + shipping. One just happened to come along at the same time used but only a couple months old. It has been a dink on various boats since I picked it up. I will post pics of the M-10 whenever I get a digital camera... Bill P.
Yes, there is yet another M-7'11" lurking out here and as of today it is for sale as well. It was built in September 1973, the serial/sail number is 152. Aluminum mast and boom. Probably the original sail, but still in good shape. Teak trim. The rudder, lee board and seat slats all in very nice condition - all refinished. Oars and oar locks are so-so in quality and condition. The boat had been painted. I just finished sanding and repainting with 4 coats of WM SeaGloss Polyurethane, 2 primer and two finish. Comes with a trailer, which has also been sanded and refinished. Asking $850. Located in Portland Oregon. If interested I can send some .jpgs off-line. Don Haas M15-248 M711-152
